Who are the Women of Risen Christ?
ALL women of the parish belong to the Women of Risen Christ!
We want every woman to feel welcome to participate in our programs and projects however we fit into your busy schedule.  Attendance at meetings is not required (although we’d love to have you).  Sign up and participate when your time permits.
We alternate meetings between the second Saturday morning of the month, or on the second Tuesday evening of the month to accommodate your schedule!
How do the Women of Risen Christ develop a JOYFUL love of the Risen Christ?
  • Each of our meetings includes an inspirational presentation by one of our priests, deacons, or community representative
  • Each of our meetings includes the recitation of the Rosary, with prayer intentions for the parish, including those in nursing homes and the homebound
  • We host an annual Advent by Candlelight, the first Monday of Advent. Start the Advent season with an evening of Scripture readings and music
  • We lead the Rosary at nursing homes within our parish boundaries

How do the Women of Risen Christ serve the parish with A SERVANT’S HEART?
  • We host Donut Sunday several times a year
  • We write cards for each of our parishioners in the 14 nursing homes in our parish boundaries three times a year (Easter, Christmas, and mid-summer)
  • We bake and deliver Christmas cookies for each of our parishioners in the 15 nursing homes in our parish boundaries
  • We host two church deep-cleaning days, prior to Easter and Christmas
  • We help with the annual Trunk or Treating event for our RE families
  • We create Halloween and Easter treat bags for downtown shelters
  • We help with parish receptions several times a year
