CURRENT PROGRAM

According to the author of The Lord of the Rings, J.R.R. Tolkein, this great trilogy “is of course a fundamentally religious and Catholic work.”

If you’re interested in these great adventures, and learning how they convey great truths of Catholic theology, plan to join ISI for the movies and the series.  There’s no charge for any of these activities, no need to sign up to view the movies, and men can sign up to receive the Zoom links to the weekly ISI meetings on the Risen Christ website.

SUNDAY

MORNINGS

Digging Deeper Into Sunday Scripture

Sundays at  10 a.m.  (after 9 a.m. Mass)  upstairs in the senior room

Join a small group study to read, listen, pray, reflect, and share ways God’s Word relates to our everyday lives. Talking about our faith brings clarity. Hearing what others have to say brings insight.
The Church “forcefully and specifically exhorts all the Christian faithful to learn “the surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ,” by frequent reading of the divine Scriptures. “Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ”. CCC 133
