Respect Life

To promote the dignity and to respect the sanctity of all human life by educating all with whom we come in contact on life issues, and to promote prayer for the conversion of our society from a culture of death to a culture of life.

Men’s Group

Serra International

Serra International seeks to foster new vocations to the ministerial priesthood and to all consecrated religious life, to support and affirm existing religious vocations, and to further Catholicism by encouraging its members, in fellowship and through education, to fulfill their Christian vocation to service. Meetings are the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 12:00 p.m. at Piccolo’s Restaurant. Contact Renee Law for more information.

Women of Risen Christ

Join this women’s organization, whose focus is Spirituality and Service to the parish. Meetings start with the Rosary and include a speaker and current service opportunities. Meetings are usually the second Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. Click here for more information.

Silverado Club

All persons 55 and older can participate in the Silverado Club. A variety of programs, tours, and activities are available through the SENIORIDE program sponsored by RTD. A variety of trips are available in the United States and in foreign countries. Luncheons with entertainment are held in the Parish Hall on the third Thursday of every month at 11:30 am. There is an evening dinner meeting in June. No meetings in July and August.

Silverado Chorale

September through May.

The Chorale focuses on entertaining residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities to bring joy to its audiences. Rehearsals are on Monday mornings in the St. Agnes room at RCCP with performances after rehearsals.  We meet on the Monday morning after Labor Day and finish our season the Monday prior to Memorial Day.

Knights of Columbus

Knights perform good works based on four core principles: charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The Knights are engaged in a variety of events that promote works of Charity. Annual events include a Golf Tournament and Lenten Fish Fry nights, which are fundraisers for the Knights of Columbus. In addition, the Knights host a brat and beer garden as part of the Parish Festival. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30.

Ladies Auxiliary

All ladies are invited to participate in the Ladies Auxiliary We support the Knights, foster spirituality, perform works of charity, and grow in friendship. Meetings are the first Tuesday of each month, beginning with the Rosary at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program of the month, then refreshments while we socialize.

Mom’s Rosary Group

The Moms’ Rosary Group meets on Tuesdays in the nursery from 9:30am—11:30am. All Moms and their children are invited to come and meet other Moms, pray the rosary, and have a discussion around a Catholic book. For more information, contact Andrea Cox.

Special Needs Support Group

The new special needs support group at Risen Christ Catholic Parish provides support and acceptance while also sharing our faith together. Monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in the nursery. Children are welcome.

Healing Grace Bereavement Ministry

We are pleased to announce the very first bereavement ministry of Risen Christ parish called the “Healing Grace Bereavement Ministry.” Its mission is to serve and accompany those in grief. We are a ministry focused on the compassionate care of all entrusted to us, facilitating among other things, prayers for the deceased and their families by our own family of parishioners. We have been diligently working on the continued development and unfolding of this ministry.
