For over 50 years Risen Christ Catholic Parish has been helping people experience Jesus through our ministries, the sacraments, and our charitable outreach. Thank you for being part of that work through your participation at Risen Christ and through your financial support. We would not be able to do what we do without the support of our parishioners.
We intend to continue that mission of helping people experience the Risen Christ as we renovate our church in 2024 to make it ADA accessible. The renovation’s campaign goal is $8,000,000 and we have received pledges for 75% of that goal. While that is a great success, we are still a long way from where we need to be. We have many people who are already supporters of the parish but have not returned their campaign pledge card to tell us if they are willing to help us in this project. This is why I am reaching out to you today.
Hundreds of households have made a generous one-time gift to the campaign, and hundreds more have made a pledge over 3 or 5 years because it allows them to make a larger gift. In solidarity with all those who have difficulty accessing our bathrooms, confessionals, music ministry, or sanctuary, I am asking each household to make a commitment to our Draw Near campaign. If a long-term commitment is not possible, it does not need to be a pledge over 3 or 5 years; any gift is appreciated.

Three Spiritual Considerations to Guide Your Generous Pledge
Gratitude
Be motivated by gratitude to God, making a generous return to the Lord for all the blessings in your life.
“And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body. And be thankful.” (Col 3:15)
Joy
Give freely rather that from a sense of obligation, knowing that God loves a cheerful giver and that true generosity leads to joy.
“Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Cor 9:7)
Love
Allow Jesus to fill your heart with His spirit of trust and selfless love for all those served by the Church’s ministry and mission.
“If I give away everything I own, and if I hand over by body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” (1 Cor 13:3)
